An Adventure for Boys & Girls entering K-1st Grade

  • Does your son or daughter enjoy learning through stories, movement, songs and games?

  • Does he or she thrive in a social environment and enjoy interacting with other children? And, if not, is he or she open to learning how?

  • Does he or she do well in an experiential education setting, both indoors and outside?

If so, then this innovative program may be the right fit for him or her.

ARK K-1, taught by Adventure Educator Elaine Barenblat, meets 13 times in 10 months. The curriculum for ARK K-1 is the same as that of our other courses, but altered to be age-appropriate and to suit non-readers and emerging readers.

Song-Session:
Each class begins with a 15-minute song session, which parents and siblings are invited and encouraged to attend. The Wednesday song sessions are shared with the "big kids" in the 5th-6th grade Boys Time group.

Location:

Our South Boulder location, the beautiful renovated Bear Creek Elementary School near NCAR, gives us easy access to outdoor space including trails and a park, as well as a comfortable indoor space suited for children. Bear Creek is located at 2500 Table Mesa Drive Boulder, CO 80305.
